The Jeep® Compass has unsurpassed off-road capability, and the Trail Rated® badge signifies that any vehicle bearing it has been tested to perform in the following five off-road conditions: traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation and water fording. The Compass is equipped with a standard acoustic glass windshield, offering the luxury of a quiet cabin wherever you go. At highway speeds, it helps improve the ability to hear normal conversations, lessens wind noise, decreases cabin noise from outside traffic and improves your hands-free Bluetooth® experience when using the Uconnect® System.
Arrange your space to your liking. The rear liftgate on Compass opens up to reveal 53.6 cubic feet of cargo area+ when the standard 60/40 split-folding rear seats are laid flat. Fold the rear seat backs and available folding front passenger seat backs to get up to 53.6 cu. ft. of cargo room.
Sounds to go Around
Two available powerful flip-down liftgate speakers let you take your music outdoors to enjoy, with premium quality sound. When the rear hatch is open, the speaker unit can swing down to project music for the surrounding outside world to hear. A nine-speaker Boston Acoustics® 368-watt sound system with subwoofer is also available.
Navigate with Garmin
Head out in the right direction thanks to the advanced available Radio 430N with Navigation by Garmin®. It features the Garmin intuitive user interface and Navigation.
Hill Start Assist
Available Hill Descent Control helps monitor throttle, speed and braking on Compass when you need it most, while Hill Start Assist keeps brakes applied for a short time after you’ve removed your foot from the brake to give you time to accelerate. And for exceptional handling, Compass also has a four-wheel independent suspension with MacPherson strut front and a multilink rear.
Up to 2,000 Pounds of Towing Capability
Compass can tow up to 2,000 pounds of Maximum Loaded Trailer Weight when properly equipped with the available Trailer Tow Prep Group or the Freedom Drive II® Off-Road Group. This tow rating is useful for hauling everything from folding camp trailers to trailers for small boats, motorcycles and snowmobiles.
Sentry Key® Antitheft and Remote Keyless Entry
A Sentry Key® antitheft engine immobilizer makes it virtually impossible for anyone without a valid key to drive your vehicle. Plus, the available remote keyless/illuminated entry system lets you lock or unlock doors from up to 50 feet away and is also available with a remote start system.
ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera
The available ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera+ allows you to see an on-screen rearview video image of the surroundings behind your Compass, whenever the shift lever is put into reverse. The image will be displayed on the Uconnect® Touchscreen.
A Helping Hand
Compass is equipped with a number of standard and available active safety and security features designed to help you stay out of harm’s way. Electronic Stability Control+ senses over-steer or under-steer and then automatically applies brakes and throttle to help put you back on track. A four-wheel antilock brake system offers improved vehicle control and decreases stopping distances on both dry and slippery surfaces. Brake Assist applies maximum braking power during panic braking, and Electronic Roll Mitigation+ uses innovative sensors that determine when a rollover may occur and applies braking force to help reduce the likelihood of an accident.
